What we collect and why

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website.
Marketing emails
We may email hotel businesses about RatesScope. Every email names us, gives our postal address and lets you opt out by replying STOP. We stop within 10 days of your request.
Who processes data for us
- Stripe for payments
- Google Workspace for email and file storage
- Netlify for hosting this website and receiving its forms
- AI service providers that help us sort and summarise reviews, under contracts that forbid them to train on your data
We do not sell personal data.
Guest data in your review exports
Review exports can contain guest names, countries, stay dates and what guests wrote. For this data, you are the controller and we process it only on your instructions, to produce your reports.
- Reports never show guest names. Quotes are shortened and anonymised.
- We delete raw exports 90 days after the report is delivered, or when your plan ends, whichever is later.
- A data processing agreement is available on request: hello@ratesscope.com.

Transfers outside the EU
Some of our providers are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, we rely on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to marketing, or restrict how we use it. Email hello@ratesscope.com and we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija, dvi.gov.lv) or the authority where you live.
